Our Favorite Cocktails of 2021

2021 was a doozy, but damn were the cocktails good. We narrowed down our ten very favorite recipes from the year (it was NOT easy!) and we hope you love them as much as we do. Here’s to another year of stirring, shaking, sipping and learning!

Rock You Like a Hurricane 

2 oz Out of Office-infused white rum
2 oz dark rum
1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
1 oz orange juice
1 oz mango nectar
.5 oz simple syrup
.5 oz grenadine 
Cherry for garnish
Orange half for garnish

Shake all ingredients over ice until chilled and strain into a glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a skewered orange slice and cherry! 

Death & Taxes 

1 oz Blue Sunday-infused gin
1 oz blended scotch
.75 oz sweet vermouth
.25 oz yellow chartreuse
2 dashes orange bitters
Lemon peel for garnish

Stir all ingredients over ice until chilled. Strain into a coupe glass, garnish with a lemon peel and enjoy!

Wake Up Call

2 oz Spike the Punch-infused vodka ⁣
.5 oz Rhine Hall coffee liqueur 
1 oz cold brew⁣
.5 oz simple syrup⁣
Coffee beans for garnish ⁣

Shake all ingredients with one big ice cube (for foam!) until chilled. Strain into a rocks or stemmed glass and garnish with three coffee beans.

Reverse Apple Ginger Martini

1 oz Snowed In-infused gin⁣
1.75 oz Dolin Blanc Vermouth⁣
.5 oz pear brandy
Apple slice for garnish⁣

Shake all ingredients over ice, strain into a stemmed glass and garnish with a skewered apple slice.⁣

By the Fireside

2 oz Navel Gazer-infused bourbon⁣
1 bar spoon of maple simple syrup*⁣
3 dashes of chocolate bitters⁣
Flamed orange peel for garnish ⁣

Add all three ingredients into a rocks glass with ice. Stir until chilled, garnish with a flamed orange peel and cozy on up by the fireside! ⁣

*Maple simple syrup is easy to make at home! Combine 2 parts maple syrup and 1 part water in a sauce pan. Gently heat and stir until combined. Once cooled, store in the refrigerator in an air tight container.⁣

Strawberry Mango Cooler

2 oz Parrot Head-infused tequila
1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
1 oz mango juice
.5 oz agave nectar
Coarse salt for garnish

Rub a lime wedge along the rim of a rocks glass (only about 2 inches) and roll in coarse salt to garnish. Shake remaining ingredients over ice until chilled and strain into the rocks glass over fresh ice. 

Roses are Red

1 oz Rose Ceremony-infused gin
1 oz sweet vermouth
1 oz Campari
1 orange slice
1 orange peel

Stir first three ingredients over ice until chilled and strain into a coupe glass. Squeeze orange slice over the glass and garnish with an orange peel. 

The Revolver

2 oz Bundled Up-infused bourbon
.75 oz coffee liqueur
2 dashes of orange bitters 
Flamed orange peel for garnish

Stir first three ingredients over ice until chilled and strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube. Run a match or lighter along the edges of an orange peel and drop in to garnish!

Spicy Pineapple Rum Old Fashioned

2 oz Island Time-infused white rum⁣
1 sugar cube⁣
3 dashes of chocolate bitters⁣
Splash of water⁣
Orange peel for garnish⁣

Combine sugar cube, bitters and water at the bottom of a rocks glass and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add rum and stir until combined. Add one large ice cube and stir a few more times until cocktail is chilled. Garnish with an orange peel and enjoy!⁣

Christmas Tree Tonic

2 oz Spike the Punch-infused gin
.5 oz pine syrup
.25 oz lemon juice
4 oz tonic water
5" pine branches for garnish
Cranberries for garnish

Simmer 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar until boiling. Remove from heat, add 2 5" pine branches and let infuse for 20 minutes. Pour gin, pine syrup and lemon juice into a Collins glass over ice and top with tonic water. Garnish with pine branch and cranberries and enjoy!
